Wikirage
Just posted to the ILI list--a message from Dave Wilson at Trinity University, re Wikirage. According to Dave, "The site keeps an up-to-the-minute list of the most edited Wikipedia entries by pulling in data straight from Wikipedia." Dave uses this site in teaching students about Wikipedia. It would be a very nice supplement to WikipediaVision, a mashup of anonymous Wikipedia edits and Google Maps. One way to use Wikipedia Vision is to click on "diff" for a recently edited article to show learners the new edit and the previous version. It's usually quite a revelation to learners to see how often Wikipedia articles are edited all over the world, even though what they're seeing is a select subset of Wikipedia edits.
