"Toward Information Literacy Indicators"

Ralph Catts and Jesus Lau have published this document ("Toward Information Literacy Indicators") through UNESCO. They decided to do a secondary analysis of international surveys that address information-literacy-related skills directly or indirectly, to develop "a list of potential international indicators for information supply, access and supporting skills." Unfortunately, historical background on library instruction/bibliographic instruction as precursors to the concept of "information literacy" seem to be missing. However, it is interesting to see the broad scope of information literacy internationally.
