LILi LSTA Grant Proposal Not Funded

It's very disappointing to announce that our LSTA grant proposal for an IL survey of all LA County libraries has not been funded by the California State Library. They received much less than expected Federal funding, we were told. We were also referred to the results of the upcoming California State Reference Think Tank, scheduled for August 25-26 in Pasadena. I'll post more information as we learn more, and we will discuss it further at our next meeting, following the September 19th workshop for high school and community college librarians, at UCLA College Library, 10:30 am - 1 pm: "Wikipedia, YouTube, & Information Literacy!"
